Last Saturday, July 25, Subiaco Petanque Club held its AGM, followed by a BBQ and social play. A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of the President's Cup trophies to the winners, viz, Suren Appadoo for the men and Sylvia Baatard for the ladies. Congratulations to both players for a consistent performance all year. Next Saturday August 01, the first round of the new President's Cup year will begin. Visitors are welcome on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

The final round of the President's Cup was held last Saturday, July 18 with twenty five members competing. Some great games were enjoyed before Marek Glinski emerged as the winner. Gordon Wilczynski, Arnaud Virassamy, Paul Forden, Emma Isliker, and Kurt Isliker were also prize winners. Subiaco Petanque Club held the annual Wright/Gridley Doubles competition, honouring club stalwarts Julie and Val on Saturday, July 11. The men's trophy was won by the team of Ravin Parianen and Arnaud Virassamy. Marion Meacock and Julieth Bebero were victors of the Ladies Trophy. Next Saturday, July 18, Subiaco Pétanque Club will host the final round of the President's Cup for this season. Visitors are welcome on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

Thirty three members enjoyed beautiful weather while competing for points in the President's Cup last Saturday, July 04. Some great games were enjoyed before Suren Appadoo again emerged as the winner. Al Mcdonell, Marek Glinski, Michel Garcia, Megan Cheyne, Gilbert Baatard, and Gordon Wilczynski were also prize winners. Subiaco hosted the Corcoran Open Triples competition, named in honour of a past club stalwart Joe. The event was won by the team of Manas Greedharry, Anghu
