It was a weekend of wonderful pétanque with social pétanque on Saturday October 31. The club is celebrating its 30th anniversary on Saturday November14. Guy Meunier was a founding member all those years ago and so it was appropriate that the club hosted the Guy Meunier Trophy Triples open tournament on Sunday. Fifteen teams competed with the team of Mannas Greedharry, Akash Bhowaniah and Barlen Maurey taking the Trophy in a close final against the team of Alain Migliore, Jacques Guyonnet and Ravin Parianen. A consolation prize to Andre Gouttenoire, Marek Glinski and Rob Dunlop and also to the team of Sylvia Baatard, Megan Cheyne, and Margaret McCormick for the nest ladies' team.

Next Saturday, November 07, the club will hold another round of the President's Cup.
