Subiaco Petanque Club invoked our heat rule last Saturday November 04, when it was ruled too hot and unsafe to play in the President’s Cup.

However, the weather was much kinder on Sunday when the Dodo Club hosted a PWA Open Doubles at Subiaco. Eighteen pairs competed over four rounds to select a top eight. Subiaco player Avinish Ramjuttan, playing with Kevin Lasne came second with Subi players Barlen Maurey and Vivien Lindor teaming up in third place.

There will be social pétanque at Subiaco next Saturday November 11.

There is also social play every Wednesday. Visitors are welcome on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Consult our website or Facebook pages for details.
