The weather has changed, the boules are warm and the social play on Saturday October 14 was hot. This was a prelude to Sunday when the club held a very successful open day.

Subiaco club members hosted members from other Perth pétanque clubs along with visitors who were experienced players as well as beginners. French visitors to Australia came along to play the game they grew up with. All enjoyed the bonhomme, wonderful Mauritian food, sausage sizzle and many fun games of pétanque.

Next Saturday, October 21, the club will hold another round of the President’s Cup.

There is also social play every Wednesday. Visitors are welcome on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Consult our website or Facebook pages for details.
