The last of the veteran’s tournaments for the year, Triples, was played on Sunday May 07 at Subiaco Petanque Club. Congratulations to Anton Wieland of Subiaco Petanque Club who has won the State veterans title for men in 2023. Subiaco players Claude Minuta, Ian Russell-Brown and Nick Siciliano were equal second place getters. Associate member Sue Dauth won the women’s title with Jenny Silva a close second.

The President’s Cup was abandoned on Saturday due to low numbers despite a fine but cool afternoon following a cold and wet morning.

The club will have social play next Saturday May 13.

There is also social play every Wednesday. Visitors are welcome on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Consult our website or Facebook pages for details.
